How can artificial intelligence be directed toward meaningful learning rather than distraction? In this talk, Marius Cortsen, cofounder and CEO of ChatTutor, will share the story of how an idea at DTU grew into a startup and research platform. Drawing on lessons from both entrepreneurship and educational research, he will explore how ChatTutorbuilds pedagogical AI agents designed to amplify human knowledge while keeping the learner at the center. Along the way, he will reflect on the challenges of aligning technology, pedagogy, and research in the fast-moving world of AI.

In this talk, I’ll reveal how our research uncovered these blind spots — and demonstrate how AIMO and its AI models can expose hidden costs, deliver real-time insights, and transform decision-making for smarter strategies.
